I was reading Lilac Lamb's Facebook Page and she mentioned the song What does a fox say. I found this song entertaining. It also reminded me that I saw a fox not too long ago. Here are pictures of it. It was sitting on the side of a levee watching for mice when...
all of a sudden a Northern Harrier buzzed by. The harrier also hunts this location.
The fox decides to see where the Harrier was going. That bird would make a delightful meal that would last a long time.
Whoops, here it is. You are too slow Mr Fox.
He gave up after this and disappeared into an overgrown area. I wonder what he was saying as he departed.
Happy Animal Wednesday.

Fabulous Fox Photos!!!! Hmm...*your* Fox didn't say anything either... still, his expression says it all!
And..you captured the whole scene on camera....when I met *my Fox*, I was so stunned, by the time I fumbled for my camera, focused and aimed...he had gone... sigh...
Love this!

What a great sighting, even with the bird flying by. I've seen a fox around here in the past. But not as pretty as this one.
What wonderful captures Lisa. It is great to be able to tell a story with a few images.
I rarely see a fox in daylight hours. One visits our garden each night at the moment. He leaves his calling card around the garden.
They are my most favourite creature. I have loved them from a young girl. I find them very mystical magical creatures.
Tku for sharing these wonderful images.
This song has taken over my family! The grands love to dance to it! Such cute boys sing it. Great video! Love your fox shots and story! They are so pretty!
How cool is this". I love seeing foxes around but they appear very often.
These are great fox photos...normally our foxes are sighted at close to dark. So glad you caught these in the daylight. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful week.
We have foxes here in London and they are vermin. There are thousands, they live under the railway bridges, in the hedges and in tube stations. At night I can hear them shrieking and when I look out of my window they are scurrying down the street searching for food. They do give me the creeps here.
wow, what great pictures. we have a local fox and I like him as he keeps the mice away
Oh wow!!!! What an experience this must have been!
Great fox sighting! I can't help but smile when I hear that song.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
