It is a big, two story barn which my brother renovated because it was in shocking disrepair. It should last another 100 years or so. Barns are special buildings and I know what you mean about the cool shadows.Quiet Pathshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00758542150832581706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633216219767219977.post-39326497094662313502012-07-25T11:11:30.993-04:002012-07-25T11:11:30.993-04:00Lisa - the Barn painting is lovely. I love the old big red ones - some of the newer ones look like big aluminum sheds. Someday I'm going to have a big old barn with hay smells in it....and probably other smells too, but I'm going to concentrate on the hay! ha ha haPAK ARThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11985770093478778520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633216219767219977.post-77258574336367601862012-07-23T00:08:33.046-04:002012-07-23T00:08:33.046-04:00I love your picture, Lisa. It is on my blog several places. We milked cows, fed baby calves, kept horses including the one I rode to high school the first two years.

Second is the little barn at the country school. It held six horses. When I first came there all stalls were taken and I had to tie 'Minnie' to a tree.

Jim's OSI
..Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02982249173214655060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633216219767219977.post-11408927263332695142012-07-23T00:05:17.708-04:002012-07-23T00:05:17.708-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02982249173214655060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3633216219767219977.post-62254311715062799972012-07-22T22:46:12.587-04:002012-07-22T22:46:12.587-04:00My maternal grandparents were farmers! We used to sit on the porch of Grandmas house overlooking the barn, and shell peas, and snap beans.
