Tiny Art Book

I got some inspiration from Anita when looking at her blog. She is a great journaler and artist. She has made some Tiny Art Books which is what I have attempted here. The closure is a ribbon and I have used dark colors because I want to give this to my Brother-in-law who gave me the inspiration to paint the pictures of bird heads. He has been getting some great pictures of bird heads lately. I have never thought of just the heads of birds before this. I think is group is a nice selection of birds that he gets in his area this time of year.
This is the back of the TAB. So this is my first attempt at such a thing, good practice for me.

These bird heads are great!! Your BIL will love it. I made one of these and put little cacti on each page-no surprise there. They are fun.

Thank you Teri. I don't know that many cacti to paint. I have seen many but I would have to see them again to paint one.

Lisa, Wowzers! I just realized you had this blog and I ADORE this first project I came to. Did you also make the fold out portion or are there kits to buy those inserts? Would love to know more about the how-to on this project. This is something I would definitely do. Great gift you've made here.

Diane, this is a simple project. I cut a piece of watercolor paper 3"x12" and folded it, then did my painting. I cut two pieces of matt board 3 1/8" x 3 1/8" and covered them with wallpaper. You could use any paper you have on hand. Then I glued the covered pieces to the back of the paintings and tied it shut with a piece of ribbon to match.

Thank you all for your positive comments about the TAB.
