Iris bud
I have been sort of obcessed with my Irises this spring. I decided to try drawing a bud with colored pencils. I like colored pencils but I haven't done much with them. They are easy to use as you don't need water to mix like with watercolr paints. I wish I had lots more colored pencils. I have a 24pack of Prismacolor pencils. I don't know how to mix the colors i have to create colors I want. I know...practice. I need to do this more.

Lisa: I just noticed this other blog on your home page. You are so mult-italented! I know many artists who love to garden. I love to garden and cannot draw at all...maybe I should give it a go!
