Doodles

I don't know how people that work full time can get any art work accomplished. I worked full time this week, including today. I don't have children at home. I didn't have a husband at home either this week and I still didn't find time to do much other than doodle. All I can say is that I admire people who work full time and find time to do art. I hope you have a good weekend.

i agree with you....most people stack up things they have done and bring them out when they can't draw. hope next week is better for you.

The other thing that stops art is being upset. I know it does for me. I like that little mandala and the ball of yarn.

The important thing is, even tho you were busy, you still got a bit done!

Lovely doodles Lisa!
When I don´t have time, in a busy week, I try at least to do an ATC.
You have to make time for art as well. Just skip a little household and take some time for yourself!
But it is hard especially when you have to work also......

have a nice Sunday dear!

The second image makes me think of balls of yarns. Coupled with the image of mandalas, I think of the fullness of life, the single strand, the many shapes, the different directions all complete and whole. Thanks for sharing these.

Doodles are a goooood thing... I like to do ATCs when the energy , time , and inspiration are lacking...Love the swirly curlies on the orange ball...nice feel to these! :)

Hey, I don't work out of the home and I still can barely do any! Hopefully next week will be better. The doodles/zentangles are great......often that's all I can do...I look at them as conditioning, like exercise, it helps to keep me in condition for some more serious art.

I love the red and green textured pattern here.
Quality time needed and much of all determination to to art is very important too. Rest well for a copper of minutes, listen to some soft music, then you are ready to venture into the gift of creating!
Good luck!!!!

I never do anything except doodle for precisely this reason. Sometimes I might get a nice sketch done on my lunch hour, but that's it.
