Cactus Monday
Since I have been negligent in my Cactus Monday posts I looked for a cactus to draw. No luck there but when I was writing in my garden diary about the frost the past couple of nights I discovered the page below. It has a sketch I did of a pot of succulents and a cactus! The little stringy thing in the front of the pot is what is the cactus in this group. It is a "Mouse Tail" Rhipsals horrida. An unusual looking thing. I hope it survives this winter in our house. I actually have it inside the small conservatory in the foryer under lights. Happy Cactus Monday to all.

I love your sketch - I need to spend more time doing that myself. HCM! I am planning to put together my cactus rhymes and paintings and laminate them and make a little book for my granddaughter.

hahaha 5,5 hours away that my whole country! here it seems so little, in Holland it would take you from the south to the North.
I have no idea where your town is but I tought it was close to teri's as she visited you a while ago, but that was probably on her way to Wisconsin? Must look it up on the map, I will. I would love to meet you too one day!

Nice sketch of mouse tail cactus. I don't see that kind of cactus often, but I love how weird it looks. I hope yours does well. Happy Monday!
