Animal Wednesday - Frolicing Orcas

This is a page from my tree sketchbook. I was inspired by the full moon last week. An Orca Mom in the moon light with its young.
For more Animal Wednesday inspiration go to Auntie Mim's.   Happy Animal Wednesday to all.

What a pretty painting, Lisa! The water looks so refreshing, and the sky so ominous! Great job on this one, for sure!!!

Hi Lisa!!!!

What a magical painting Lisa! You are getting better and better!!!! Amazing. This is a stunner again.

Was at Blick yesterday and there they had the Fabriano paper ! But only the card boxes. with 100 pieces and they were on sale. Do you have Blick's near you? Maybe you can order online as well. they had folded card but also plain cards and they would be great for painting I guess.

HAW dear!

Orcas are beautiful sea creature that I still admire. Love the simplicityand soft mute colour tine here!

I really like this. The waves splashing gives it so much movement and the colors are great! Definitely a bit magical...

Lisa....such a wonderful painting. You just get better and better. I have just come back from Spain.....the moon hanging over the sea would have given you so many painting opportunities.

Have a quiet and peaceful weekend....
