Animal Wednesday - Rose-breasted Grosbeak & Luna

Luna isn't near as impressed with the visit from the Rose-breasted Grosbeak to our feeders as we were.
This is a handsome male. I always know that spring migration is in high gear when these guys start coming through.
Happy Animal Wedensday to everyone. Don't forget to check out Mim's Blog for more Animal fun.

We get two kinds of Grosebeaks but not those. They are pretty. Luna does look like she could care less. LOL

two great photos. Luna looks either skeptical or bored, like "oh you think a bird is better than me?" and that bird! I've never seen one, and it's beautiful.

I love Luna..... I always wanted a samoyed ever since I was a little kid. I used to draw them all the time.

Ia Luna at least part samoyed? she looks it... I'm just looking thru pics of her and maybe i am not remembering correctly what kind of puppy she is.

In any case she is stunning.

Lisa, I just received your comment regarding visiting Fernald Preserve. SO FUNNY! That is exactly where I used to live! I lived only about a half mile from there before I moved away! I hope you had a good day considering this last weekend was the one sunny weekend we've had for a month! It's pretty there. They left it wild and the birds and ducks love it.

Luna is just so beautiful, does she get awfully hot in the summer? give her a big kiss from me and snuffles.

I know I am late seeing this but, I am so glad I found it. Luna looks just awesome!! And the Grosbeaks are now here and they have a very special meaning for me. Thanks for showing them.

I love that picture of Luna. And, this is a first time for me with this type of grosbeak. Great shot!
