During this DRY summer I have the benefit of some new bulbs I planted earlier this spring. The 'Legend' Oriental Lilies I planted looked like such small bulbs I couldn't hardly believe they would produce, but produce they did. I have these beautiful huge blooms now.
HAPPY BLOOMING TUESDAY!

So good to see you sketching Lisa. I know you have been playing in your garden as evidenced by this wonderful sketch. My neighbor has all kinds of lilies also.
HBT!
Beautiful flower and drawing. Does it smell?
Btw, You mentionned once a pink mimosa. Did you mean an albizia?
My orientals are long over but the day lilies are blooming. This one of yours is lovely.
So happy to see you are drawing again.
The dryness seems to dry up my spirit...
your drawing is refreshment!

I agree it is good to see you drawing again. And a lovely drawing too. There you have it so dry and here the rain doesn't seem to want to quit. I wish it would share the wealth of water.
I have to tell you all that my email program is kaput. I have lost everyone's email address which is how I usually respond to comments. You must know I treasure all comments. I hope I can get back to you. Please email me so I can put your address into the program I am now using.
My orientals are in full bloom right now but the only way I can keep them whole is with continual spraying with bug spray - otherwise - boom - all gone to munching bugs
Lisa,
Lovely to see your beautiful artwork once again. I have missed your paintings very much.
I love this Lily......
Oh there you are! I thought you had given up on us. A delicate lily to get you into the swing of things again. Beautiful! So glad you are back!

Glad to be able to see your blog again Lisa
This is a beauty! Sorry you're having such a dry summer. I hope your garden flourishes :)
I often struggle to get on your blog- my computer is *%&^%&^$&$ But here I am, and so far so good. I know you love your garden at this time of year, and it shows. Lotsa rainy hugs from wet Londontown.
I love lilies in general but their smell kind of makes me feel ill. The Easter lily that is. This looks wonderful though. How does it smell? :) Love the sketch.
