Blooming Tuesday - Witch Hazel

It is "that" time of year. Blooms are beginning to pop around the garden. The crocus and now the Witch Hazel is beginning to show it's spidery blooms.
It is so exciting to see this small shrubby tree bloom. This is it's first year in our garden. I have never had one before. The blooms are starting near the ground and moving up the the stems.  Is there anything blooming in your garden at this time of year?

Nice journal page. I've never heard of a Witch Hazel tree. Will have to look one up. We have crocus, pansies and Primroses blooming too. I saw the swelling of the plum trees getting ready to bloom. That's when I feel Spring is almost here.

Beautiful painting . Oh isn't this exiting that the first signs of springs are popping up.
I have a lot to do in the house now since Lars moved back yesterday :(
But next week when there is a beautiful day I will clear away the dead things in the garden so I can see what is starting to grow and I saw some things already :)
Have a wonderful day!

Lisa, I knew of *Witch Hazel* - but have never seen it! Thank you for this gorgeous painting.... Spring is almost here on the West Coast....the Plum and Cherry Blossoms are blooming - but the rain (today) is already washing them away...still, plant life is flourishing - and soon, there will be baby *critters*! Ah, Spring....

I hope it comes soon for those of you in the Midwest and Northeast...

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

Nothing blooming here yet that I can see. The snow is still too deep in the yard, so I have been feeding the birds and squirrels more near the gate so I can just toss it over. perhaps something will bloom from all the bird droppings!

Wonderful journal page, as always♥

... and I've never seen one. We are getting ready for Autumn. The hydrangeas are out in the deepest blue and the first lemon has turned yellow.
