Acrostic Action

I was up early with the birds this morning. It must be in the air. This delightful dickcissel was singing his heart out the other day while we were birding. Couldn't resist a photo that I later (this morning) sketched. An acrostic poem leapt onto the page too.

This is so beautiful! The sketch is spot-on....I can almost hear his voice! Love the words too... a real day-brightener for me!

Love it: bird and poem. Yes, birds and poetry are in the air.
I rarely get to see one of these birds. Lucky you.
