Cactus Monday - Rose

Good day Cacuteers. I know, I know, this isn't exactly a cactus but it does have thorns and tiny ones that remind me of spines. I wish you all a good Cactus Monday anyway.

Hi there - a rapidograph is one of those technical pens that you have to fill up with india ink. I love the ritual of filling it up with ink and I have a few sizes so can draw really thin lines - which I love.

Love the rose!

I am happy you all like my rose even though it is Monday.

Mim, thank you for the information. I am ignorant of many artists tools and techniques. I am trying to learn.

I've always believe that art of any kind cannot be considered alone, by itself, separated from the body of work that the artists produces leading up to, and evolving from that point forward.

But a rose is a rose is a rose: and beauty stands on its own merits, isolated in time and space.

Thanks for sharing!
