One thing I really like to see are pen and ink drawings of people. I am just facinated by the ability of some that can sit down in a restaurant or church and draw a likeness of someone. My first attempt was of my Dearly Beloved as he was entranced by a football game this week. You can start feeling sorry for him because he is my easiest target so he will probably be profiled often. Ha.. And no this doesn't look much like him.

You have really captured that dazed football look in your DH. I speak from experience lol. Keep going, you are doing great and DH will become famous!
He really looks like he was into the game. I bet he doesn't even know you immortalized him. I love drawing people too. Mine don't look enough like the subject to make me happy either. I have to learn how to rectify that. I do know this, drawing every day is the best way to improve what you don't like. I think I'm a better sketcher since I started practicing more. I commend you on your resolve to draw every day. Please keep posting them. I love seeing what you are doing.
I commend you for doing some art every day. That's what I need to do. I think you did a nice job, though I don't know what your beloved looks like! People is not my strongpoint at all. Look forward to seeing what is to come!
I too am trying to develop some people sketching skills...Looks like you had a nice, still, tv dazed subject here...A great source! :) I may have to give that possibility a go on this end as well! LOL :)
ha ha i think he makes an excellent subject. creating every day is a good challenge to get the 'juices' flowing.
