I must say I feel like I am cheating. I drew this columbine in my garden journal in April 2003. I wasn't thinking that I was very artistic at the time but I have always wanted to be. So since I have been looking through old journals trying to find the names of certain flowers I found this little sketch and thought I would share it with you. The columbines aren't blooming here yet. They are forming the buds now. I hope they don't get frozen off the next day or so. We are under a freeze warning. I hope you all are warm and are having a bloomin good time this Tuesday.

Oh my goodness, Lisa, that is wonderful! You certainly are very talented. I have always wished I could draw plants and flowers like some do so well, you among them. Looking forward to meeting you in Chicago, you seem like an old and dear friend, not old in the age sense. HA

Columbines are so lovely and graceful...one of my all time fave flowers... I like this one a lot! :)
You have been hiding your talent for way too long Lisa. This columbine is as pretty as they are-graceful and elegant.
I adore the colours that you splashed on Lisa. Lovely painting especially with all the girly treat!
