Elk in Snow

I must have been cold yesterday because when I saw a picture of this Elk in the snow I felt like I knew just how he felt. These are such amazing animals.  I couldn't see where to put a cactus in this picture.  It would be covered with snow.  HCM anyway.

I saw a bull elk standing in chest high snow once on our way up to the ski area. It is amazing that they can withstand that much weather. Just like this lovely painting portrays. The colors depict the cold perfectly, Lisa.

Perhaps the elk is dreaming of summer vacation, when he went to Arizona and came across a few cacti!

Gorgeous painting.
