Thankful Thursday

The last of the ABC ATC2 cards are slowly trickling in. It is such fun receiveing these atcs I hate to see the trade end.  This "W"alrus came from Patty in AK. It is such a cutie. Thank you Patty.

While the ABC ATC2 trade is ending I am begining a new adventure. I am taking an online class from Laure Ferlita. It is an Artful Journaling class.I have never done an online class before. It seems great so far.  One of the things she asked us to do is to pick a Signature Color. Have you ever thought of yourself as a color?  I haven't ever thought quite like that. So I am already thinking out of my tiny little box. Which color did I pick?? I chose Phthalo Turquoise.  There is something about that color that intrigues me. It can be ever so dark yet can be as light as a glacier fed spring.
This time of year the spiders are busily building their webs. They must capture plenty of food for their spiderlings to be able to make it through the winter. The background here in this sketch is my signature color. It looks a bit more blue through the camera's eye. I wanted to do a page with it and I think this suits me.

I am so thankful for all of the people that take time to leave comments here. I am also thankful for the new people I have met through the class. Ilook forward to getting to know them better. Cheers...

Love the ATC Walrus. The class sounds fun. How do you do an on line class? do you have cameras??
Love that color too. Not fond of spiders but never thought about why we do see so many webs all over the place at the end of summer. I learned something. :)

Cris, there is a special website ran by Laure. She has video's and gives written and demonstrated assignments. Then you post and she helps you where you need help. She is very positive. I do have a camera so I can post my work as I do here on my blog. It is great fun. I needed a little nudge in the right direction.

Phthalo blue is a great color. I love how you describe it. Keep us informed on how you are enjoying the online class. I've never taken one online either.

I've still got X, Y and Z to finish! Aaaacckkk! I will get them done. Love the color you chose for yourself, I've never thought of choosing a signature color. Teri took an online class from Laure too. I'll have to check it out; I'be been seeing some good things written about it.

Very clever Lisa, I love your brilliant solution on the blue spider web.
Simple but the one tone colour is so distintively appealing!

Congrats lisa!
