I received this start of a succulent the other day. I admired a larger version of this plant and the dear Uncle that had it said he had a start if I wanted it.
If you know what it is I would appreciate an id of the plant. Happy Cactus Monday to all of you Cacuteers. If you would like to se more cactus images, many of them drawn please head over to Teri's Painted Daisies here.

Interesting in deed! May it grow to great lengths and in good health!!! HCM
I've never seen that one either, but it's a beauty.
I have no clue what it is. But those things are usually easy to root and grow. Nice of him to give you one.
I have no idea.........
Hope someone comes with the answer!
Hope you can grow it just as big as the original.
HCM Lisa!!!
OOOOOH MY! Lucky you! I LOVE those wonderful leaves...what a great shape/form they have...Have a joyful Cactus Monday! :)
Wowww! So Amazing Cactus!I want to eat it! :)
delurking... :)
I am guessing that it is a type of Epiphyllum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epiphyllum) - probably Epiphyllum anguliger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epiphyllum_anguliger)
It is similar to your Night Blooming Cereus. Nice!!

Wow, nice uncle :). It's got really nice leaves. Glad peg has id the plant :) coz it's my first time seeing it.
HCM!
Lisa, this is a Cryptocereus anthonyanus, also called Zig Zag, Ric Rac or Fishbone Cactus. Very cool! I got a little piece from someone at a plant sell, so I'm a little jealous...yours is huge!
A beauty, to be sure. That is very unusual.
I have never seen this interesting beauty! Very nice. HCM!!!
I see Mandy beat me to the answer! I have some of this and always call it ZigZag Cactus, but other names are as she mentioned!!! Isn't it cool???
Happy CM, late.
That is quite a "start" a full grown cactus!
I do not know my cactus very well. I have a small cactus garden my son left for me to care for when he moved. So far all of them are doing fine but I have no id on any of them! I shall read your commenters and see if any one can id your new addition!
PS.... I learned something new this evening...zigzag cactus....very cool.
