One Single Impression - Wheat

Life sometimes grinds us
into submission, then we
rise as fresh loaves

And sometimes I just have to take a stab at a poem when it rises in my mind. This poem was seeded by the prompt of the word "Wheat" at One Single Impression.  Please join them and read more.

I love your poem.I wonder how many times in my 70 years I have risen again? ;-)

And thanks for the memories of when I used to bake bread. Loved watching it rise...like magic.

Wow. That is a gorgeous poem.

I once had a woven bit of wheat like that. You bring back some memories.

How true, which is not easy but when we say yes, everything is possible.

We need to pray for submission to God!
