Happy Halloween

This little house is situated right across the street from where  a friend of mine lives. I have always liked the little wrap around porch and they keep it real neat. I took a picture one day thinking I might draw it. When I looked at the picture there were some halloween decorations on the door so I thought I would post this today.

I hope you all have a Happy Halloween. Don't forget to brush your teeth tonight.

Lisa,

The house is really pretty and I agree the wrap around porch is a lovely feature.

You have excelled Lisa.......buildings are always so difficult. You have certainly captured the charm of this pretty little house.

Lisa,

Just popped over to tell you about another book you may like.

A Countrywoman's journal by Margaret Shaw. Her sketchbook diaries were hidden in a drawer for over 70 years. They record her sightings from 1926 - 1928.
Her writings are wonderful and the illustrations (watercolours) are poetically beautiful. In fact, your work often reminds me of her.
Her heart and soul is in her work.

Do try to source it....you definately will not be disappointed.

I love this! I just love sketches of houses and this one is fabulous. Kind of reminds me of a beach house.
