I love hearing the
whir of little wren wings
Nuts fly off the feeder
Eaten in safety
amongst the pyracantha
life is prolonged
Winter invites all
partaking natures bounty
garden creatures share
Even song sparrows
dance along the edges of
the window feeder

Sunshine peeks through a
curtain of crystallized fog
hopeful new year enters
Happy New Year!

Beautiful photos dear Lisa! The words are gorgeous....and true! Your garden IS a haven for all of God's Creatures! (And thank you for posting a photo of my *Cousin*!)
May 2013 bring you health and joy...
Big Hugs,
♥ Robin ♥
I absolutely love your photos and descriptive and poetic words to accompany them. Wishing you a blessed year filled with lots of art, bird sightings, bountiful gardens, and good health...:) Love to you from the desert1 xo
Very beautiful post. Today I was looking at a flock of Robins and didn't ever remember seeing them once the snow fell. I guess our winters are milder, so a first Robin sighting in the spring isn't such a harbinger anymore. Still, when I see them in March/April they give me hope!
Happiest of new years to you and yours. May you have lots of artsy endeavors♥
Lovely post. I have been derelict in posting lately. Been critter sitting for over a week now. Its a lovely January first here. Almost like spring. I ditto what everyone else said. :))Guess I need to do a post.

Your nature pics are so good! I really need to get myself outside and enjoy the winter instead of sitting inside hating it!
