is where I prefer to rest
the sky is not reachable
All except bees rest
when Luna is in repose
on the lawn with a smile
Pert pink ears alert
while seeminly inactive
watching slinking cat

Hi Annie, Welcome. Luna's ears are not usually up so high. She must have seen the neighborhood cat or as you say she may have wanted to play.
I enjoyed these, too. You make me want to stretch out on the grass right now.
