Bloomin' Tuesday - Asian Lilies

I don't usually join in on Bloomin' Tuesday but I thought I would today because I thought about this picture I did in an art class a couple of years ago. I am going to start that class again this week. Looking forward to it.
I hope to learn more. My plodding along by myself is good but I do learn techniques etc in the class. I will let you know how it goes.

Oh, how great! Art school! Sure wish I could find one here that wasn't so darn expensive! Maybe I am just looking at it wrong...do you think 260 dollars for 8 weeks is a lot??? Oh well...ever onward...

OH, and your painting here is exquisite!!! I don't think you need art school at all, except it is a lot of fun!!!

Julie, I think it sounds like you are talking about a Art School. I am taking an Art CLASS. It is given by a person that is a good artist herself. The cost is minimal compared to an Art School. Maybe you could find an artist in your area that gives classes. I bet there is an art league (club) that may offer individual classes in the medium that you prefer too. It would be a one time class or maybe over a weekend. I find these types of classes very educational and fun.

The only reason this painting is so good is because at class you are walked through every step of the way. Which is good obviously and you learn what to do. You also learn different techniques.
