This rose I started drawing on a shee of watercolor paper that is really rough. I used color pencils first. I didn't like the look of it so I put a watercolor washover it. Can't say it improved it much. This is one of those learning experiences. Happy Blooming Tuesday.

And that is how we all learn. I just did something yesterday thst falls into that same category. But the rose has an interesting texture.
Thank you for sharing it, I was working on a sunset view that I saw as I was taking the dog out and the colored pencils just wasn't doing it justice....it happens!

This looks wonderful to me! Toiletpaper seems imposible to me to paint on , but you managed!
