St Mark's Lighthouse

A couple of years ago we were in Florida visitng family and birding of course. We stopped at a lighthouse along the coast. The name of it is St Marks Lighthouse. It was a beautiful area. I stood on a lookout tower near by and took a picture of the lighthouse. I remember thinking I wish I could paint this scene. This just goes to show that wishes can come true. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. If you are like me sitting here in 27F weather you will be wishing you were in a warmer climate. Watching the sea breezes swish the palms around. Ahhhh... still dreamin...

This is so beautiful.
You are so good at watercolour painting.
I think when you are positive, anything can happen....just like painting this great piece here is no longer a dream but a fruitful harvest from your action, determination and passion put in at painting it:)

Lovely work, very soft and serene. It is not quite that cold here, but cool.

This is beautiful! We are smitten with lighthouses here! I have been to this one a few years ago while visiting Wakulla State Park, we drove down to see this area! I remember a quaint little shanty fishing area along the water where we had a seafood lunch in an open air bar there...happy memories!

This brings al little warm my way. It's lovely and I'm delighted to hear your story, it's a good reminder to not let go of our dreams.
