A friend and I went to a Fish and Wildlife area to hike. We found that it was hunting season which kept us on the roads. We did see some interesting sights. Old rusty items where houses used to stand. In the big lake there was a huge machine being driven by a man. It was a contraption I had never seen before. It was ripping out the lotus that was taking over the lake. Interesting process.
I hope you all have been having some fun time outside this fall.

Lisa, this is such an interesting page that i had to enlarge it and study it closely. The rusty "tribal mask" caught my attention.
What a great journal page. Love the Guy running the machine and love how you placed everything. Sounds like an interesting trip.
I love how you turn it into a journal.
Great page, Lisa! And I'm pleased you came back to post it as you are a braver woman than I to be walking with hunting season in full swing. There are too many trigger-happy fools out there for me to be walking in a wildlife management area! Glad you're safe!
This is 2 interesting pages! Beautiful, Lisa! I have never seen one of those machines out on water, either! I know you enjoyed being outside in nature. I need to go tomorrow...no matter how hot it is!
Your journal is really beautiful. Every time you publish pictures of it, I resolve to try something along these lines, too. But I don't. So nice to see your work.
My internet is fixed and now I can blog again!
Wonderful page. I love the detail in the renderings! I do believe I'll start a journal this winter :)
That's a wonderful page from your journal!
That must have been interesting to watch the machine in the lake. I like the way you organized all the themes of your day onto the page. Love all the detail.
Oh wow, beautiful journaling and writing - and you have an art mail blog! How cool is that? Thanks for your visit and for this beautiful inspiration, xo
