White-tailed Deer

Last weekend when we were out and about we saw a small buck on the road. It didn't run away as fast as most deer do when approached by people in a vehicle. It merely stepped off the road into the wood lot. It turned and looked at us as if to say why are you out so early this morning.
I hope you all get out and about to see what nature has to offer this weekend.

Hi Lisa! I just love seeing deer when we go on vacations.....they are so beautiful. Your painting is so neat! Perfect sweet little face! It is early Saturday morning, and we are still getting wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour, and rain from this darn hurricane that is heading up the coast now. Looks like no fun at all for the northeast in the next few days....sadly. It should clear up by this afternoon, and I hope to get out and take a long walk out somewhere!!!!!!! Have a great weekend!

I would like to go for a long walk .... when the rain stops. Weeks of rain here and very squelchy ground. It's always a thrill to see deer, frozen in a moment, before they disappear into the bush.

Love your deer! I always struggle with their faces and you did such a great job on it. Sadly, we no longer see deer unless we go deep into the interior of Florida. Too many people now adays.

Lisa, you have created such beauty here.. the Buck's face DOES have that inquisitive look.."Why are you here so early"?

No Deer where I live....but, across the GG, I often stay with friends who have them in their backyards - or just on the road... I adore them.

A sunny Autumnal day here... no opera for once, so I will definitely be out and about in *Nature's Realm*...

Hugs,

Great job. We are critter sitting this weekend and have been seeing six deer..2 mamas,2 fawns and one buck.. morning and night, letting the chickens & ducks in and out of the pen. They are coming for the food. So cool to see them in the almost dark. I need to remember my camera.

Since 2 days it is cold here.... But today I will have to do some work in the garden. Have to plant my crocs bulbs before it is too late.
Hope to go for a walk with the dogs too.
Lovely page you made here with the majestic deer ♥
But the page is so well balanced with the text and the leaves. Perfect!
have a wonderful Sunday :)
