Giving Thanks This November - Animal Wednesday

I was pleasantly surprised when I finished a sketchbook the last day of October. I even used all of the pages in that book. I am notorious for leaving one or two pages at the end of a book empty.
I was so inspired by this month of November. Such beautiful fall weather. Sun shining, light breeze to ease one through the day. This lovely weather has made me think about how thankful I am for all my many blessings. I decided to make a sketchbook/thankful journal. I am going to write every day what I am thankful for and do a sketch.
My first page I used stamps to set the theme.
I must admit I have had this little tree frog on my mind lately.  He escaped from the plant he had been accidently brought into the house on.
I am happy to say he came out looking for dinner last night. I got to put him outside where he will more likely to survive the winter. I am most thankful for this. Please wish our little house guest well. If you want to read more about him click here and here.
HAW to you all.

I had to enlarge the photo to see if that was a photo of the real thing or a painting you did of that tree frog. WOW. Very good job Lisa. Great idea on the November book of giving thanks drawings. Will look forward to seeing what you do.

Lisa, I adore Frogs! And this one is too cute! I continue to be amazed at how lifelike your drawings are.....

I am thrilled Mr. Froggie is outdoors...where he will have a better chance to make his *Winter Plans* and find a nice treetrunk or pond to reside in!

Hugs to you - a great AW Post!

Dear Lisa,

What a lovely book and such a wonderful idea To fill it with all that is right in our world at that time, will be a lovely recond of that month. It is all too easy to get entangled in what is wrong with it......and not see things clearly.
I am sure it will be full of wonderful things....

The painting of little tree frog is fabulous Lisa. I wish him safe places to hide and food on his doorstep should the need arise :)

Congrats on filling a sketchbook. I get about two pages in on every single one!

I love the idea of a thankful theme. And this is a super great start! Great painting, wow. And I'll say little froggie prayers that he'll know what to do to hunker down for an Indiana winter :)
