Here is another page in my tree journal. It has a lot of stamps that I have received on packages from Malaysia. They have the most beautiful stamps. Birds, flowers, fruit. I drew the cicada in the middle of a prepainted page. Then addes the quote by John Berger. "Do you know the legend of the cicadas? They say they are the souls of poets who cannot keep quiet because while they were alive, they never wrote the poems they wanted to."
