We have stayed here before and have never had a bad moment. It is family owned and ran. They tried having a manager at one time it didn't work out. So they are back to managing it themselves. You just can't beat the personalized service and that good ole southern hospitality.
This visit we were entertained by all the black-bellied whistling ducks that have invaded their property. I mean wildlife knows a good place when they experience it too. However these ducks have made a nusiance of themselves by staying around too long. If you have ever experienced too many Canada Geese or too many pigeons on a property you know the problems. We however found them amusing and they are quite beautiful. In the early morning we found them as silouettes just loafing on the roof of the building.
