Face Carving On A Tree

I saw this face carved on a dead tree in a magazine. It spoke to me. I had to draw it. My drawing isn't as peaceful looking as the carving but I hope to be able to stop thinking about it now that I have drawn it. Have a good weekend. I hope your weekend is peaceful.

I like this very much. I have a friend who photographs trees whose forms suggest faces to him. It is a fun thing, a game to play while walking.

(PS My poem was about maple syrup!)
